Tipping T is family owned and operated business. We are a 6th generation Native Texan family of 5. We strive to provide a fun laid back atmosphere here on our grounds. The property has been owned by part of Emily’s family since the 1970s. Emily and Sean bought and opened up the business in the fall of 2013. You will find our owners Sean and Emily Tipps wearing many hats around our land. Sean is a 25 year veteran of the Food and Beverage industry and is our Chef. Our food is inspired by our Central Texas upbringing. We use almost entirely local product in our kitchen.

Tipping T is an eco-friendly property with over 20,000 gallons of rain water collection. We raise bees and chickens along with growing several other items on our land. Our organic chicken eggs, honey, house pickles and fruit preserves will be sold in house and at local farmers markets (coming soon).

Our Inn consists of 5 cabins/houses each having different accommodations. Hummingbird and Bunting houses were the two original houses from the property. Waller house is our 100+ year old house that was moved here from East Austin. We purchased the reclaimed materials from the demolition and built a new 2nd story on it. Waterloo and Armadillo Cabins were built from the ground up along with the Tejas Pavilion using cedar from East Texas. The Eatery is located in he Tejas pavilion and hosts private events along with a once a month Sunday Brunch.

We are located on Fitzhugh Road conveniently next to Jester King Brewery (We have a private gate). There are several Breweries, Distilleries and Argus Cidery located just a few short miles away. We are located near a ton of great Hill Country Wineries too. Downtown Austin, Dripping Springs, Driftwood and Bee Cave are all just a short drive from us.

We look forward to hosting you or your special event.
