Olga, born in the former Soviet Union, grew up in New York and moved to Barcelona when she was 15 years old. She majored in Classics and Ancient History at the Ohio State University and pursued an M.A in Classics at the University of Texas at Austin. Olga's love for grains began with her passion for craft beer and history. Learning about traditional beer making was an important source of inspiration in her quest for baking sourdough bread. Olga is a self-taught bread baker who loves reading, researching and accumulating knowledge on anything related to bread-making.
